Alphonso also known as Hapoos (हापूस) and payri are varieties of mangoes that grow mainly in Devgad and Ratnagiri districts of Konkan area of Maharashtra state in western India.

These mango varieties are most expensive but one of the best in terms of sweetness, richness and flavor. Hapoos mangoes have a considerable shelf life of about 3 weeks after they are ripe, with each fruit weighing between 130g and 350g. Payri, however, being a very sensitive and fast ripening variety of mangoes, has a very short shelf life.

Payri mangoes are maximum consumed by the Jain and Gujarati communities around the world. These communities use a mix of hapoos and payri pulp to make a delicious sweet dish called 'ras'.

The southern district of Mahrashtra Ratnagiri and Sindhudurg including regions around the Dapoli and Devgad Talukas, the southern districts of Valsad and Navsari in Gujarat state are the main regions where this variety of hapoos alphonso mango is grown.

Our specialty happens to be devgad ratnagiri hapoos alphonso mangoes and devgad ratnagiri payri mangoes.
